While it's now "cool" to hate on Call of Duty, one of the key things that they do right was the killcam, which for whatever oddball reasons, no one else has done (don't think it's a patented idea). One of the many complaints with FPS games is the lack of feedback when you die: it could be a sniper from a mile away, or it could be some guy who's camped out in the bushes. The killcam gives a rewarding explanation: it never instructs you on how you should have done better, but rather it gives the cause to your effect, a proper resolution.
